Tyler Winklevoss is confident that BTC will rise to $500,000

Co-founder of Gemini crypto exchange Tyler Winklevoss called BTC “gold 2.0”. The entrepreneur is confident that in the coming years the value of the crypto coin will increase, he said that in the next five years the price of the asset will rise to $500,000.

Earlier, Morgan Creek Digital co-founder Anthony Pompliano asked why the Winklevoss brothers are not selling their BTC, given the volatility of the crypto coin.

“We still think it’s too early for that. We think Bitcoin is Gold 2.0. t will disrupt gold so its market cap has to be $10 trillion or more because that’s the market cap of gold,” Tyler Winklevoss replied.

US Senator Calls BTC a “terrible currency”

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren considers digital currencies “terrible.” In a recent interview, she stated that digital assets make it easier to conduct illegal activities.

The senator is confident that it has become easier to commit crimes with the participation of cryptocurrencies. She cited the ransomware attack on the Colonial Pipeline and JBS as arguments when the criminals demanded to pay the ransom in BTC.

“Every hack that leads to a successful payout in cryptocurrency becomes an advertisement for new hackers trying to carry out more cyberattacks,” the senator said.
