According to Ilya Agnelov, CTO of the Billium crypto platform, tokenization of assets is a trend in the near future, which will open up significant opportunities for entrepreneurs. It does not matter who it will be — a large business or an individual, for example, a freelancer.

Many companies are ready to automate and optimize business processes, making them more secure and easier, but at the same time more accessible. And this has become easier to do with the help of NFT.

Non-fungible tokens are unique digital assets, the rights to own which are recorded in the blockchain, Agnelov recalled. According to him, the record “appeared in the blockchain” cannot be changed or deleted, and, moreover, forged.

“If the documents for the ownership of your apartment are digitized and transferred to NFT, it will no longer be possible to change the information in this document without your knowledge. Almost any asset can be tokenized in this way: collectibles, tickets to events, domain names, shares, ownership of real estate, cars, documents or contracts with partners, and much more,” said Ilya Agnelov.

In his opinion, before issuing an NFT for business, you need to understand what goals are pursued with the further use of the token, as well as what benefits the owner of the asset can get. For example, it is possible to digitize documents and information about former owners when selling real estate, and then transfer this data to the NFT format, Agnelov noted.

“Thanks to this, the problem of forgery of documents is solved, when, for example, one house is sold twice to two different people. Since all the data in the blockchain is public and transparent, any attempts by fraudsters to cash in on you or your clients will be meaningless, ”said the crypto enthusiast.

NFT, as some experts have previously stated, has not completely lost its popularity among users. So, for example, the official NFT collection on the well-known fantasy universe “Game of Thrones” was sold out in just 7 hours.
