Crypto enthusiast thinks bitcoin price could hit $30 000 in February 2023
A significant proportion of retail investors are still interested in crypto assets. A study by the trading platform eToro found that 69% of retail investors are not worried about the crypto winter starting in 2022.
“The fact that two-thirds of retail investors are feeling indifferent or even more positive after the worst year for the markets in a generation may seem odd. But the majority of this cohort thinks in terms of years and even decades. For those with longer time horizons, the end of 2022 provided an opportunity to acquire companies at lower prices, improving their long-term profitability prospects,” said eToro Global Markets Strategist Ben Laidler.
According to the survey results, young investors are the least afraid of the crypto market. More than 75% of investors aged 18 to 34 are positive or indifferent to a downtrend in the market.
And a well-known crypto analyst under the pseudonym Kaleo believes that in the near future, the price of bitcoin will increase significantly. According to him, in February, the rate of the first crypto coin can reach $30,000. And over the coming months, the cost of BTC will return to the levels of June last year, the expert believes.
“When bitcoin breaks through all resistance, we will see a glorious candle to $30,000. However, I warn you, this can happen at any moment and not necessarily tomorrow. Be careful and keep your greed at bay,” Kaleo wrote.
He believes that the current state of the crypto market is very reminiscent of the 2019 rally. The crypto enthusiast expects that bitcoin will soon regain its dominant position in the market and attract liquidity from altcoins.
“Over the past few days, there have been no significant changes in the ETH/BTC rate. But I expect the chart to break through the support at the bottom, and bitcoin will continue to strengthen and absorb liquidity from the market. The situation is similar to 2019,” the analyst believes.
