Binance CEO: “I won’t let Bitcoin crash to zero”

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao tweeted that he will not let BTC completely lose its value.

“Still worried about BTC going to zero? Don’t! So long as I have a penny left, it won’t happen,” he wrote.

A number of analysts mentioned a possible drop of bitcoin to zero after the cryptocurrency price fell from $9,200 to $3,800 in a few days.

Users commented to Zhao’s tweet that he had only intensified panic. Previously, he gave several forecasts about BTC growth, but afterwards, the price fell even lower.

The popularity of “buy bitcoin” searches have risen sharply

People are interested in buying cryptocurrency amid its price crash. On March 13, when BTC plunged to $3,800, the number of “buy bitcoin” searches tripled, according to Google Trends.

Trader filbfilb noted another interesting point: during the same period, “buy bitcoin” searches outperformed “buy gold”. This happened against the backdrop of a crisis in global stock markets.
