Ripple CTO David Schwartz spoke about a smart strategy for owning and selling crypto assets. He made a reference to the early days of BTC, when early investors and miners preferred to sell digital coins to cover their expenses.

During the first bull market, there was an increase in the number of merchants who were willing to accept Bitcoin as payment.

“When I was long Bitcoin, I sold when I needed anything — to pay taxes, to buy a new computer, and so on. This is exactly what almost all the first buyers of Bitcoin did,” Schwartz told his subscribers.

A top manager of Ripple introduced two potential owners of BTC — Alice, who had previously sold a lot of crypto coins, and Bill, who did not get rid of his digital assets. Schwartz asked users “whose Bitcoin position is longer.”

“The whole time you are slowly both acquiring and selling, you are long. Someone who constantly keeps selling a lot must either be very long or constantly buying,” the top manager of a crypto company advised.

Schwartz previously reported that he owned about 26 million XRP and also had significant Bitcoin investments. A few years ago, a top manager at Ripple argued with Craig Wright, who had repeatedly stated that he was the creator of BTC, Satoshi Nakamoto. The notorious businessman also said that the XRP token would not be able to interest large investors.
