According to crypto enthusiast Shan Bellew, Litecoin could rise in price to $5,000-$10,000. A supporter of LTC believes that the coin rate will once again test the key mark, which is in the range of $90–100, and then continue to grow.

Belew admitted that the altcoin will be at the level of $5,000-$10,000 only when Bitcoin shows its maximum during the next halving bull market. According to CoinMarketCap on June 27, the cost of LTC reached $88.82. Over the past 7 days, the coin has risen in price by 15%.

At the same time, market participants indicate that the price of Litecoin recently approached a high of $93.8. However, the altcoin failed to stay at this level.

Analysts note that from June 10 to June 17, the number of new addresses in the Litecoin network increased by almost 55%, breaking the bar of 300,000. Against this background, the number of active wallets increased by 28% — up to 400 thousand.

At the same time, it became known about reaching a record figure of 200 million addresses. LTC has bypassed the Ethereum blockchain, which has about 180 million wallets in total, Glassnode experts noted.

Perhaps the increase in activity in the Litecoin network is associated with the expectation of halving, which will take place on August 4 this year. The block reward in Litecoin is 12.5 coins. And after the specified date, the amount will decrease by 2 times — to 6.25 LTC.

Interestingly, the fundamental assessment of network performance continues to improve. Earlier, the developers reported that the blockchain had processed 167 million transactions.

According to IntoTheBlock, currently half of the addresses in the network are profitable, while only 37% of Litecoin holders are losing money.

Do you believe that the altcoin can seriously rise in price in the future?
