Experts acknowledge BTC could hedge against inflation
Bitcoin can become a new diversifier, much like gold, according to BlackRock’s 2025 Global Outlook. This is possible thanks to BTC’s unique qualities, including steady growth.
The flagship crypto coin’s growth is driven by predetermined supply and growing demand, which is based on market players’ belief in BTC’s effectiveness as a payment instrument.
“Bitcoin’s role as a store of value and payments system make it a potential diversifier,” analysts highlighted.
BlackRock linked the first cryptocurrency’s growth to record highs after the U.S. election with further wide adoption of BTC and lower correlation with stocks and other risky assets in 2025.
Earlier, Gerber Kawasaki Wealth and Investment Management CEO Ross Gerber attempted to advise individual investors against purchasing digital assets other than BTC. According to Gerber, Donald Trump’s incoming pro-crypto government could put investors at risk because scammers may become more active during a bull market.
“The minute Bitcoin starts to do well, the criminals and the fraud start taking advantage of people,” Gerber warned.
