👉 Remember that if you use a public Wi-Fi network, then criminals can intercept transaction details or spoof the web page to steal your data. It is much safer to trade through your home network, with your own password.

👉 You should not install suspicious add-ons in your browser, you should also disable ad blockers, because they can make changes on the website page, and in case of catching malware, such an application will replace the wallets of the exchange or exchanger with fraudulent ones.

👉 It would be wise to conduct all your crypto trading activities only through an encrypted VPN channel, which creates additional security protection.

👉 When choosing a VPN service, pay attention to the connection speed and the presence of the kill switch function. Kill switch is important for high-risk operations: if a secure communication channel stops working for some reason, then your device is automatically disconnected from the internet, that is, unencrypted data will not go anywhere.

👉Do not connect a browser wallet, for example, Metamask, to sites you are not sure about, there is a whole network of fraudulent organizations that send some tokens “as a gift” and create sites that supposedly allow them to be sold, but after connecting the wallet to such site, it will withdraw all assets in favor of scammers.

👉 Don’t keep all your cryptocurrencies on centralized exchanges, the recent FTX bankruptcy scandal confirmed the thesis that the cryptocurrencies on the exchange do not belong to you, transfer the main reserves to non-custodial wallets.
