The founder of ARK Invest, Katherine Wood, believes that the indicators of the BTC market indicate an approaching bullish trend, but investors should be careful amid the collapse of Terra. According to the businesswoman, the short-term owners of the cryptocurrency capitulated, but serious investors remained in the industry.

“The share of long-term holders is at a record high of 65.7%. This means that they hold bitcoins for at least a year. While we see some long-term holders capitulating, there are some very strong investors in cryptocurrencies and this is a positive signal for bitcoin,” Wood said.

She said that in addition to indicators within the blockchain, the company is closely monitoring what is happening in the BTC futures market. According to the founder of ARK Invest, “Bitcoin futures are sold at a discount, which indicates high volatility.”

“We don’t know whether the price of bitcoin will go up or down on this indicator, but this can be seen in other indicators. And we can argue that the next big burst of Bitcoin volatility will be directed upwards,” the expert explained.

MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor believes that the short-term volatility of the first crypto coin means nothing if there is an understanding of the essence of bitcoin and how problematic it is to create something better.

“Bitcoin is the most reliable thing in a very volatile world. It is more reliable than the other 19,000 cryptocurrencies, than any shares, than owning property anywhere in the world,” the top manager of the company emphasized.

In his opinion, only those who have invested at least $100 in BTC can discuss digital assets. Otherwise, they “probably have nothing to say about it,” Sailor said.

And investment strategist Lyn Alden believes that, against the backdrop of inflation, including bitcoins in your investment portfolio is quite prudent. According to her, the main crypto coin has now become one of the most reliable assets, like real estate or gold.

“Most of my holdings are in long-term hard assets such as shares of pipeline energy companies, profitable real-world producers, bitcoin, some gold, various types of exchange-traded instruments and real estate,” Alden said.
