Laser Digital forecasts booming success of exchange-traded funds worldwide in 2025. The company’s latest report mentions 12 new filings from ETF issuers that have yet to be approved by the SEC.

The filings propose products such as a ProShares ETF and derivatives based on LTC, XRP, SOL, and Hedera. Analysts believe the SEC staff reshuffle will be the primary driver of ETFs’ performance in the U.S. market.

“With SEC chairman Gary Gensler gone and Paul Atkins (a vocal advocate of digital assets) taking his place, lawsuits are likely to fade away, making the ETFs mentioned viable later this year,” the experts report.

According to Laser Digital, ETFs will continue to grow this year, spurred by the interest of major crypto players. Crypto-friendly regulators in Donald Trump’s incoming administration will become the main drivers of the process.

“[…] almost every institutional type is now represented as holders of ETF crypto products, including endowments, pension funds, hedge funds, investment advisors and family offices,” Laser Digital adds.

The analysts also highlight the fact that new crypto regulations are being created in numerous countries, including Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
