Ripple’s altcoin leads by the number of transactions

According to data provided by BitInfoCharts, on October, 26, XRP transactions accounted for more than 50% of all the cryptocurrency transactions, and constitute more than 1,55 million of daily transactions. This way XRP approached its historical maximum of 2017, when the number of transactions processed by the network was higher that 1,7 million.

Interestingly, the number of transactions increased in eight days from a little less than 730 thousand daily transaction to the above-mentioned mark of 1,55 million. This constitutes an increase of more than 125% in such a short term. It is yet unclear what is behind this dynamics.
