Arcane Research analysts have announced the forecast for the development of the cryptoindustry for 2022. They are confident that BTC will outperform the S&P 500 again.

Bitcoin has shown significant profitability compared to the rest of the assets. This year, the profitability of the first cryptocurrency has exceeded 70%, and investments in the S&P 500 index could bring only 28%. Arcane Research believes this trend will continue in 2021.

But forecasts for Cardano and Ripple are not so optimistic. According to experts, in 2022 these assets will leave the top ten most popular crypto coins. ADA and XRP are currently ranked 6th and 8th according to CoinMarketCap.

Arcane Research analysts also touched upon the topic of non-fungible tokens. They believe that the popularity of blockchain games using NFT will continue to grow. Game developers will incorporate such assets into their own projects.

Experts hope that next year the BTC hash rate will be above 300 Eh/s, as the Bitcoin network has become more powerful and distributed thanks to the Chinese bans. By the end of 2021, the hash rate of the first cryptocurrency returned to levels before the introduction of sanctions in China.

Several BTC futures ETFs were launched this year. The pioneer was ProShares, which launched the Bitcoin Strategy ETF, which got off to a fairly successful start with sales in October on the NASDAQ.

Valkyrie Investments also launched its own bitcoin ETF. Arcane Research analysts believe that in the future, the volume of funds based on the main cryptocurrency will grow and overcome 1 million BTC.

In addition, experts predict an increase in the number of public cryptocurrency companies in 2022. Arcane Research predicts major IPOs for crypto projects in the stock market. Analysts believe the digital asset industry wants to replicate the success of Coinbase, which went public in the spring of 2021.

What events should be expected in 2022, in your opinion? And how will they affect the participants in the cryptocurrency market?
