Are you still trying to foretell the movement of bitcoin?
Did you know that in 2011 an Israeli-American psychologist and economist Daniel Kahneman made a research among 25 most prominent traders from Wall Street, which showed that their success in predicting the market’s movement was not more stable than that of a dartthrowing chimp. 🐵
Of course, we are not trying to underestimate traders, but this is yet another illustration how hard it is to forecast the markets.
It should be noted that in 2002 Kahneman was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economical Sciences for his fundamental work on behavioral economics.
His book “Thinking, Fast and Slow” explains why people not always take rational decisions and are governed by unconscious prejudices and impulses.
We recommend this book not only for those who are into playing the stock market, but also for everyone who wants to be an expert in people’s actions.
