Vetle Lunde allows that the price of bitcoin could reach $45,000 this May
CEO of The SkyBridge Capital Anthony Scaramucci said he was confident in the future growth of bitcoin. He noted that he has not lost optimism about the main crypto coin, even considering the past failures of BTC.
“I am not a cold object in space and I am not a bitcoin evangelist. I’m not one of those religious figures who have to sing “Bitcoin Above All” without regard to what’s going on in life. I want to say that now I am more bullish than in my entire life,” Scaramucci said.
In addition, he expressed hope that the first cryptocurrency will enter the next growth cycle. The entrepreneur pointed out that attention to BTC from a wide audience began at the end of 2021 and lasted until the end of last year.
“Let’s imagine that before that, bitcoin was like a microbrewery. And people liked the beer that was brewed at this enterprise. But then suddenly there was a “distribution explosion”, after which everyone in the world started talking about bitcoin,” said Scaramucci.
Meanwhile, cryptocurrency analyst DonAlt believes that for a bullish rally, bitcoin must overcome the $33,000 mark. The expert clarified that after passing this level, a small correctional wave should be expected. Then the BTC price may reach $50,000, after which a pullback to $30,000 is expected.
A cryptocurrency strategist under the pseudonym Cred, agrees with DonAlt.
“Personally, I don’t see $30,000 as a serious resistance level. I think the zone between $30,000 and $35,000 is more important. Let’s expect a downward reversal here before the market teleports $40,000 BTC,” the expert said.
Vetle Lunde, senior analyst at K33 Research, suggested that the price of bitcoin could peak at $45,000 as early as May. This year, BTC has risen by 80%, leaving behind the usual risky assets, in particular, the Nasdaq technology index. The rise came after 12 months of decline, when prices fell by 76% and bottomed last November.
